Why am I off on Monday?

It's Columbus Day!

We commemorate that day October 12, 1492 when Christopher Columbus discovered India, I mean America. And let's all admit it, things have been pretty good for us since then. Pretty good indeed. I'm a little too wasted to go into detail about how life has improved since the discovery of the Americas, but you know what I mean. So thank you Christopher for finding us and for this special day to appreciate it all.

We are deeply sorry for all those Minnesotians who do not celebrate this landmark day in our history. For you, I will say "have a joyous Canadian Thanksgiving." Oh and sorry to the Taino Indians, whose demise was brought about by the landing of the Europeans.

Have a great day off everyone!
